Ya’aqov 1-4

Of his own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

If any man among you seems to be observant, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man’s observance is vain.

But if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, and are convicted by the Torah as transgressors.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature;

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Humble yourselves in the sight of Yahuah, and he shall lift you up.
